Press release issued: 30 April 2018

The launch of the UBLC’s annual law magazine ‘Dicta’ took place last week at the Square Club, Clifton. The magazine is designed to keep law students abreast of the legal issues affecting the world, focusing on a particular theme each year.

This year’s theme was ‘the future of law’ and welcomed a variety of fascinating articles.

“In a time where our social, economic and political landscape is unclear and unpredictable, it is inevitable that the future remains of concern. In the legal realm, the rights of individuals, corporations, public bodies and institutions can anticipate a period of immense change and need to prepare themselves for the future”.

The event was a great success with writers, editors and all other contributors gathering with the support of their friends to see the 2018 edition. Attendees at the event enjoyed reading the pieces and speaking to representatives from Osborne Clarke, who had contributed to the interview pieces. The calibre of writing and design continues to excel each year – grab yourself a copy if you haven’t already.
