Applications are now open to members of the National Preventative Mechanisms (NPM's) for the HRIC/PRI 2017 Summer school

Applications are now open, for members of the National Preventative Mechanisms (NPMs) and their staff to a summer school, to be held 14-17 August 2017, in Bristol. The summer school is organised by HRIC and Penal Reform International, in partnership with the Association for the Prevention of Torture. 

As an advanced course, the summer school will increase participants’ capacity to prevent torture and ill-treatment using the revised Nelson Mandela Rules. It will also provide an opportunity to meet and network with experts in the field and representatives from other NPMs.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 17 May 2017.
