Law Club and Bar Society receive nominations for multiple National Law Society awards

Press release issued: 3 February 2016

The University of Bristol Law School is delighted to announce the national law society award nominations for the University of Bristol Law Club and Bristol Bar Society.

The UBLC has been nominated for 'Best Overall Law Society', 'Best Law Society President', and 'Best Law Society for Non-Law Students' categories. These nominations mark a fantastic achievement for the society, which continues to grow stronger. Last year, UBLC was nominated for 'Best Overall Law Society' and won the category of 'Best Law Society for Social Events'. This year we are all hoping the society can go one step further and win the overall category.

The Bristol Bar Society have once again been nominated for the category 'Best Society for Aspiring Barristers', which they were awarded at last year's awards.

The Awards ceremony, hosted by LawCareers.Net, is in London on March 17. With more than 40 societies submitting applications, the Bristol societies have done exceptionally well to reach this far. The University of Bristol Law School would like to wish our societies the best of luck for the upcoming ceremony.
