Post-Graduate Environmental Law Symposium Announced

8 October 2015

The fourth Environmental Law Symposium, organised jointly by the University College London Faculty of Law and King’s College London Dickson Poon School of Law, has been announced. The symposium will be held on 25th February 2016 at King’s College London.

The symposium is inviting PhD students to apply for presenting at the event and welcome attendance by both postgraduate and undergraduate students interested in Environmental Law. This year there will be both oral and poster presentations.

Anyone interested in presenting in any field of Environmental Law and Governance are encouraged to submit an abstract, indicating whether it is intended for oral or poster presentation, of no more than 200 words by Friday 30th October 2015.

The organisers are keen for students to meet and network and to strengthen the postgraduate environmental law research community.

The symposium is funded from the Dickson Poon School of Law, the UCL Centre for Law and the Environment and the UCL Faculty of Laws. Presenters in need of financial support are invited to make contact with the organisers to discuss coverage of travel expenses.

Lunch and refreshments are provided on the day, followed by a drinks reception.

More information of the event can be found on the King's College London website.
