The Faculty of Social Sciences and Law are delighted to invite applications for a number of PhD Scholarship opportunities:
- Up to 3 University of Bristol Scholarships are available to students applying to any Social Sciences and Law discipline. These studentships are open to both UK/EU and International students.
- Up to 2 Interdisciplinary ESRC Scholarships and 2 Disciplinary ESRC Scholarships.
Research topics are flexible for all studentships but must be agreed with your chosen School before registration. Please use the Research Details of the online application form to outline your area of interest. In the funding section of the application form please indicate "UBPGS September start" in the free text box.
Start date: 23rd September 2013
Value of studentships: The University of Bristol generously provide a stipend for three years of PhD research. Successful candidates will receive full tuition fees plus a Doctoral Stipend matching UK Research Council National Minimum (£13,726 p.a. for 2013/14, updated each year).
Application deadline: 5pm, 14 February 2013. We strongly recommend that all applications from interested candidates should be completed and submitted by 31st January 2013.
