Professor Malcolm Evans is Expert Panellist on Freedom of Religion and Belief

On 25th October 2012, Professor Malcolm Evans, OBE, will be taking part in an expert panel discussion on ‘Emerging Issues in Religious Freedom Worldwide,’ that is being hosted at the Bahá'í International Community’s United Nations Office.

On 25th October 2012, Professor Malcolm Evans, OBE, will be taking part in an expert panel discussion on ‘Emerging Issues in Religious Freedom Worldwide,’ that is being hosted at the Bahá'í International Community’s United Nations Office.

This high-level event is organised by the UN NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief in collaboration with the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at BYU, The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, St. John’s University Center for Law and Religion,

The panel discussion brings together recognised international experts on the Freedom of Religion or Belief who include, Professor Evans, W. Cole Durham, W. Cole Durham, Felice Gaer, and Tad Stahnke.

Following the talks, the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Prof. Heiner Bielefeldt, will give a commentary, and make further remarks to participants during an evening reception.
