The School of Law congratulates Mary Synge who has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

The School of Law congratulates Mary Synge who has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Mary’s research, which was supervised by Professor Roger Kerridge (Law) and Dr Gwen Seabourne (Law) considered the new public benefit requirement in charity law (under the Charities Act 2006) in the context of private education.

Her examiners were Simon Baughen (Bristol) and Professor Peter Luxton (Cardiff).
