Dr Michael Naughton interviewed about Wullie Beck appeal on BBC Radio Scotland

Dr Michael Naughton, Reader in Sociology and Law with joint appointments in the Law School and the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies (SPAIS), was interviewed today on BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning programme. He was commenting on the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission's (SCCRC) referral back the High Court of Justiciary of Mr William Beck conviction for armed robbery in 1981 at the third time of asking.

Dr Naughton is the Director of the University of Bristol Innocence Project which investigated Mr Beck's alleged wrongful conviction and made two submissions to the SCCRC that were persuasive in its decision to refer the case.
