Bristol Law School graduate, Theresa Villiers MP, becomes Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

University of Bristol Law School graduate, Theresa Villiers MP (LLB 1987-1990), has been promoted from her position as Minister of State for Transport, to Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, in the recent cabinet reshuffle. Ms Villiers has a first class law degree from the University of Bristol and a BCL from Jesus College, Oxford. She is a former barrister and lecturer in law at King's College, London, and is currently MP for Chipping Barnet.
