Dr Michael Naughton and Gabe Tan will give invited papers at the International Conference on Preventing Wrongful Convictions in China, the first such conference in China.
The Conference is organised by the Research Center of Criminal Justice, Renmin University of China, Beijing, China. and will be hosted by the School of Law, Jilin University, Changchun, China, 6-10 August 2012.
Dr Naughton's paper is entitled: 'Preventing Wrongful Convictions in England and Wales: Abortions of Justice versus Miscarriages of Justice.'
Ms Tan's paper is entitled: 'Overturning Wrongful Convictions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland: An Assessment of the Criminal Cases Review Commission.'
