The University of Bristol Law Club is holding a multicultural event  - Collaboration|Bristol - on the evening of 25 June, 2011.  The initial inspiration for this event was the floods in Pakistan in the summer of 2010. The importance of highlighting and appreciating our differences - that which makes us unique - was highlighted. By uniting all cultures the Law Club wishes to emphasise, embrace and celebrate the advantages and opportunities provided by multiculturalism in today's interconnected world.  Money raised by the event will be donated to charitable causes supporting victims of the recent floods in Pakistan and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

The event includes a global fashion show, cultural performances, food, an auction, raffle, stalls, and an end to the evening with an open dance floor.   The venue is the King's Suite of the Marriott Hotel on College Green in Bristol.  Doors will open at 7.00 pm and events will begin at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are priced at £15, and will be available for purchase at the Hawthorns and the Wills Memorial Building in the first week of June.  Due to a limit on capacity at the venue, tickets will not be available for reservation, so make sure to watch out for the Law Club's ticket sellers, as tickets are likely to sell out quickly.

The Law Club would like to involve as wide a range of cultural societies as possible, so if you would like to get your cultural society involved, please contact one of the Cultural Societies Contacts below.
