Over the past few years, the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen has provided a forum in which the ideas of its research students can be rigorously tested. This has become known as the 'Science Barbeque'. As part of an effort to foster links between research students from the Universities of Bristol and Copenhagen, a joint 'Science Barbeque' will be held. At this event, research students from both institutions will test out their research ideas, interrogate key readings in their area, and develop links between members of the two universities.

The event will be held at the University of Bristol over two days on 28 and 29 October 2010. It will be organised by Professor Henrik Palmer Olsen from the University of Copenhagen and Dr Patrick Capps from the University of Bristol.
