Clinical Research Start-up and Support (CReSS) workshops are for clinical researchers in UHBW and colleagues in local universities, who are undertaking a new study, preparing a grant application, or wanting to know how to get started in research. The main aim of the CReSS workshops is to provide guidance and peer-support for early-stage researchers.

This workshop will cover the importance of ethical reviews, what RECs are looking for, the application and decision-making process, vulnerable participants, amendments, monitoring.
