Alan Turing Interest Groups based in Bristol

The Alan Turing Institute runs interest groups to share ideas and knowledge around areas of interest in data science.   

There are two Turing Interest Groups which are run by researchers (and Turing Fellows) at the University of Bristol: 

  • Novel data linkages for health and wellbeing - Anya Skatova
    How can we use novel digital footprint data for research to benefit health and wellbeing? Interest group organised by Anya Skatova
  • Data-centric biological design and engineering - Thomas Gorochowski
    How can AI support the practical engineering of biology to tackle global challenges? Interest group organised by Thomas Gorochowski
