The University of Bristol and The Alan Turing Institute

The University of Bristol is a member of the Turing University Network, run by The Alan Turing Institute, the national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. The Jean Golding Institute acts as the main point of contact between the university and The Alan Turing Institute.

The Alan Turing Institute is named in honour of Alan Turing, whose pioneering work in theoretical and applied mathematics, engineering and computing is considered to have laid the foundations for modern day data science and artificial intelligence.
