What: Humans have been sharing stories about intelligent machines and artificial minds for thousands of years, which has profoundly shaped the way with think and talk about AI. Join Genevieve Liveley, Professor of Classics at the University of Bristol, Turing Fellow, and Director of RISCS (Research Institute for Sociotechnical Cyber Security), to explore how science fiction could be obscuring science fact and limiting our perceptions about the possibilities and pitfalls of AI.
