Access Information for Jean Golding Institute AI and the Future of Society day event and evening public lecture

The Jean Golding Institute welcomes everyone to our public AI and the Future of Society Event on Thursday 6 June 2024 at The Conference Hall, City Hall, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TR. 

The event is free of charge.

Doors will open for the day at 10am and the welcome talk will start at 10.30am.

For the evening public lecture, doors will open at 5.30pm and the lecture will start at 6:15pm.

There is some disabled parking, please email jgi-admin@bristol.ac.uk if this is required. Attendees may be dropped off at the entrance at the top of the ramp, entry via Park Street. 

Venue

The event will take place in The Conference Hall which is situated on the ground floor of City Hall with level access into the building. 

  • Before the lecture finishes there will be an opportunity for drinks and networking in the Foyer. 
  • Toilets are located on the ground floor. There is an accessible toilet which is gender neutral. There are also single gender toilets. 
  • There will be Event Volunteers available to assist where needed. 
  • Guide Dogs or Assistant Dogs will be welcome.
