Undergraduate profiles: Alastair

What do you like best about your course?

With geography at Bristol there is a massive range in what you can end up specialising in, with academics across a large range of topics. The best thing about the course is the choice - you can shape your degree and choose the path you want to go down.

What do you think of the University’s academics and facilities?

Lecturers are informative and enthusiastic about their disciplines. After your first year you really get to know the lecturers which is great.

We have our own geography library and large computer lab along with many other facilities. They are also being expanded at the moment for larger future intakes of students.

What would you say to a prospective student?

I would recommend looking into all of the degree courses for different universities and choose a university which offers a wide range of modules but at the same time will challenge you.
