About the event

Lorna will share the presentation that she gave at The Globe in September at the English Association's GCSE Reform forum and a summary of the day's outcomes. While the presentation focuses specifically on thoughts around necessary changes to the English Language and English Literature, we will go on to discuss wider assessment issues, including (for example) the affordances and challenges of terminal assessment and potential for non-examined assessment.

You are gently reminded of the Curriculum and Assessment Review which is currently underway, with a deadline of 22 November 2024: https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/curriculum-and-assessment-review – please note that anyone can respond.
