“Shadowlands” Documentary Film Screening and talk with Dr Nida Kirmani – Bristol (UK) (In person only)

Shadowlands: Life After Conflict in Lyari, Karachi follows the stories of two residents of the area of Lyari in Karachi, Nawaz Laasi and Amna Baloch. Lyari is one of Karachi’s oldest settlements and is home to approximately 1.5 million people. The documentary screening will begin with an introduction to the film with Dr. Nida Kirmani, the film producer. There will also be an opportunity for questions with Dr. Nida Kirmani after the screening.  Light refreshments will be available.
