Reading Between the Lines project launch

31 July 2024, 2.00 PM - 31 July 2024, 4.00 PM

The School of Education, University of Bristol

Dr Philippa Howard and her team have recently begun the ‘Reading Between the Lines’ project. This project will use eye tracking methods to study how autistic and non-autistic people read. This research will increase the scientific understanding of how text is processed by different people and inform inclusive education practice. You can read more about this project and the team on the project website: readbetweenlines.blogs.bristol.ac.uk

We warmly invite you to a project launch event at the School of Education on 31st July 2-4pm. This is an informal affair that will include:

  • A short talk from Philippa Howard, introducing the project
  • Opportunities to see and experience the eye tracker
  • Time to chat with the researchers and provide your feedback
  • Tea, coffee, and cake

We would be delighted if you could attend! You are welcome to 'drop in' and join us for all or just some of the items listed above.

You can find out more information and register to attend (for free) via this link.

We very much hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you.

If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us via our project email address: rbtl-project@bristol.ac.uk
