Would you like to update your wardrobe, support climate charities and take action in response to the climate emergency?

Staff and PGRs from the SoE are cordially invited to our first School of Education pre-loved clothes sale which will take place on Wednesday 14 September 2022 from 9am in room 4.10 in the School of Education. This is an event where you bring in unwanted items from your wardrobe and take a look at others donations and help yourself! You will be invited to make a voluntary donation to an environmental charity in exchange for any clothes that you take for either yourself or family members.

Please note - this event is for School of Education Staff & PGRs ONLY. If the event is a success, we will organise further events for our students in the coming terms.

The event will take place over a full day so you visit us when you can, and we hope to offer some refreshments at some point in order to create a chance to socialise with colleagues too.

Things you can donate: 

• Any clothes of any size that are clean and in good condition (including coats)
• Jewellery and accessories (bags, hats, scarves, gloves)
• Shoes or boots

All you need to do is respond to the calendar invite and commit to popping into 4.10 on that day as this will only be successful if people come.

Any clothes that remain at the end of the day will be bagged up and donated to charity.

The SoE executive team will be accepting donations from the week commencing Monday 5 September 2022 and should be delivered to room 2.01 or 2.32 in the School of Education.
