These fully funded two-year Research Associateships support recent PhD graduates’ transition into early career research. Doctoral Prize Fellows propose their own bespoke programme to conduct innovative research in the fields of Engineering, Science and Life Sciences.

A note on eligibility:
Applicants must have submitted their thesis before EPSRC Doctoral Prize support begins and must have been a recipient of EPSRC studentship support. No more than 1 year must have passed since the viva for applicants who have completed their PhDs. Applications from candidates in the final stages of their PhD (within 6 months of submission) will now also be accepted.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 2 May 2023. Interviews are expected to take place on Monday 12 June 2023.
Candidates must apply online. The following documents are in the job advert and must be completed and attached:
- University of Bristol EPSRC Doctoral Prize Application form (including Project Proposal)
- Your up-to-date CV (the CV should be appended to your application form to constitute one document)
- A completed and signed ‘Head of School Statement of Support’ form. Please coordinate with your Project Sponsor.
Applicants who have not yet submitted their thesis must also provide a ‘Supervisor Statement of Support’ form.
