The Learning Facilties Management team:

• oversees all standard (non-specialist) Central Teaching Spaces at the University. 
• is responsible for the upkeep and upgrades of Central Teaching Spaces, decoration, and furniture.
• works closely with the Timetabling and Room Booking team enabling us to set the rooms to the correct capacities and styles.
• Manages bookings from SU Student Groups in Central Teaching Spaces

University space

University space is categorised as either Central Teaching Space or Specialist Space.

The distinction is generally as follows:

• Central Teaching Space – lecture theatres, seminar, and tutorial rooms.
• Specialist Space – all other spaces, specialist teaching rooms (labs and computer labs) and all non-teaching rooms.

Room booking

• Booking a room for a non-teaching event.
• Booking a room for a SU Student Group.
