For a new course in 2016/17, Curating the Object, the Department of Art wanted students to create their exhibitions in virtual reality. Whilst access to the technology which enables this wasn't freely available at the time, the department found a tool used within Museums and Art Galleries to create 3D representations of their spaces for planning. In the video above Dr Peter Dent discusses using the software for their Virtual Exhibition project and the approaches taken to enable digital collaboration and group work.
