Bristol Composites Institute celebrates its recent graduates.

On Tuesday 30 July 2024, students from across Bristol Composites Institute (BCI) celebrated their graduations. The graduation ceremony was held in the beautiful Wills Memorial Building, at the top of Bristol’s Park Street. It was a gloriously sunny day and the University gardens were in bloom; providing the perfect backdrop for graduates to capture photos of the occasion.

The graduates, their families and staff from BCI then met in the (crucially air conditioned) Beckford Bar, Senate House, for a celebration of the graduates’ achievements. The graduates and guests were all thankful for a cool spot to enjoy a drink.

BCI Co-Director, Prof. Stephen Hallett, congratulated each of the graduates and presented them with a specially commissioned Bristol Blue Glass paperweight, to keep as a memento of their time at BCI. It was a great moment for the graduates to reflect on their achievements and share with the assembled guests what they are up to now, and their plans for the future.
