It was definitely a satisfying and enjoyable experience. I'm glad I made the decision to apply to the CDT, I've enjoyed the journey, learned a lot and it's helped qualify me for a position above grad-scheme level, as I hoped it would.

I found the CDT programme to be very useful not only in attaining a PhD but also as part of my career development. The first year allowed me to address holes in my own knowledge whilst building upon areas I was already familiar with, ultimately making me a more rounded engineer and more attractive to employers.
