Leonardo Costantini
Teaching Associate
Leonardo teaches Greek and Latin at various levels to our undergraduates at Bristol University.
His research focuses on the works of several Greek and Latin authors, specifically Apuleius’ Metamorphoses and Apologia, Petronius’ Satyrica, Fronto’s Correspondence, Hyginus’ Myths, and Vergil’s Aeneid for Latin, the comic dialogues by Lucian of Samosata, and Plutarch’s Moralia for Greek. He also investigates broader themes, such as the ancient novel, Greco-Roman magic, Platonism, and the manuscript transmission of classical literature.
Leonardo has been involved in many outreach events, school and museum talks, and he would be very happy to give talks on any of the topics mentioned above.
