Association for Latin Teaching (ARLT) summer school

24 May 2021

The Association for Latin Teaching (ARLT) summer school will take place on 26th-30th July and we will be running a workshop on making Classics more inclusive.

The Association for Latin Teaching (ARLT) have invited us to run a workshop on making Classics more inclusive at their 98th annual Summer School, which will run in-person at Blundell's School in Tiverton, 26th-30th July.

The ARLT is run by practising teachers to provide CPD for practising teachers, including trainees, newly qualified and experienced practitioners. Their Summer School programme includes lectures by academics from Exeter and Bristol Universities, as well as option groups covering Greek and Latin GCSE and A level set texts, and Classical Civilisation units.

Discounts for first-timers and PGCE students, and bursaries are available on application. Visit the ARLT website for further details and booking information.

For a nationwide list of summer schools running this year, see the Classical Association website.
