Day trip: Cardiff
18 Jan 2025 | 10am – 6pm | Bristol Temple Meads
Join the Bristol Inbound team on a day trip to Cardiff - the vibrant heart of Wales.
Tickets cost £33. The ticket price includes transport (from Bristol to Cardiff and back from Cardiff to Bristol) and a guided tour of Cardiff Castle. Booked independently this trip would cost a minimum of £35.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

At this meetup, we will be we will be showing you how to decorate plant pots. With a little creativity, you will leave this Monday Meetup with a plant pot holder to decorate your room! All materials will be provided for free.

Come along to our social event for inbound and outbound study abroad students, a fun and easy way to meet outbound students who are planning to go abroad this year.
We'll start our social event with a fun icebreaker activity. Following the icebreaker activity, you will have the opportunity to socialise in a relaxed and informal setting! Your ticket includes an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink at the bar.

Community Garden volunteering

Looking to connect with others and enjoy a relaxing activity? Join our Community Garden volunteering session!
Take part in simple gardening tasks, learn something new, or just unwind with a cup of tea. It’s a fantastic way to meet fellow Study Abroad students while enjoying the fresh air. All activities are beginner-friendly, and gardening gloves will be provided.

Study Abroad Monday Meetup: Recycled magazine coasters

In this hands-on Monday Meetup, you'll learn to repurpose old magazines and transform them into a set of unique, eco-friendly coasters. This event is perfect for those who love creativity, sustainability, and meeting new people. Whether you're a sustainability enthusiast or just curious about repurposing, you'll enjoy the process of crafting something practical and personal. All materials will be provided. Just bring your creativity!

UK trip: Edinburgh
22-24 March 2025 | Edinburgh
Join the Bristol Inbound team for a getaway to the enchanting Scottish capital, Edinburgh!
We've carefully crafted a comprehensive 3-day, 2-night itinerary to ensure you fully immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Scottish culture and make the most of your visit - whilst having lots of fun along the way!
The trip costs £320. Booking for this trip is open to Study Abroad students only.
Included in the price of the trip:
- Return flights from Bristol to Edinburgh (1 under seat cabin bag included)
- Transfers to and from Bristol Airport and Edinburgh airport
- 2 nights in a top quality hostel in a super central location with breakfast included
- A wide variety of activities

Study Abroad Monday Meetup: Tie dye socks & T-Shirt making + pizza
31 March 2025 | 5.30pm – 7.30pm | Global Lounge
Join our regular Monday Meetup - a space to meet with other Study Abroad students whilst enjoying a range of fun (and free) activities, including crafts, film nights and board games.
Take a break from revision, relax and unleash your creativity as you play with tie dye. This will be a very messy and fun Monday Meetup! During the evening, you'll learn to tie dye with different designs, leaving the meetup with colourful socks or a T-shirt to take home. This event is free to attend. Your ticket includes all materials, plus there will be free pizza to keep you energised!!

Study Abroad Monday Meetup: Friendship bracelets and keyrings making
28 April 2025 | 5.30pm – 7.30pm | Global Lounge
Join our regular Monday Meetup - a space to meet with other Study Abroad students whilst enjoying a range of fun (and free) activities, including crafts, film nights and board games.
This will be the last Monday Meetup for this academic year and we want to end the series by celebrating friendship through the art of making! At this meetup, you will learn how to make colourful and unique friendship bracelets and keyrings to keep or swap with other study abroad friends as a memory of your friendship!
All the materials you need to craft your friendship bracelets and keyrings will be provided.

Study Abroad Farewell party

All good things must come to an end, sadly. Let's meet for one last event to celebrate the end of the semester as we say goodbye to many of you. Join us for a fun-filled evening of games (bowling, pool, ice-free curling and shuffleboard), food and drinks. Let’s make the last event of the semester one to remember!
