Social programme
We want to ensure you have an unforgettable UK experience. That's why we offer a diverse range of social activities throughout welcome week and the semester. Whether it's theatre outings, sports events, visits to local markets, or fun evening socials, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Bristol.
We also organise day trips to nearby cities, giving you a chance to explore more of the local region. These events provide an excellent opportunity to connect and make friends with fellow students, making you feel right at home in Bristol.
Dedicated careers support
Studying abroad is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience that can enhance your employability. To help you make the most of your time at Bristol, you have the option to participate in the prestigious Bristol PLUS employability award.
We also offer bespoke Careers workshops specifically designed to help you articulate and showcase the skills you've gained while studying abroad.
The exchange community is brilliant. It’s wide, expansive and very international. It was fun for me to meet so many different people on so many different tracks of life.
Bristol University Exchange Society
The Bristol University Exchange Society (BUES) aims to bring inbound study abroad students and local Bristol students together.
BUES run a family scheme and organise regular socials to help you make connections and settle into life in Bristol.
