Cabot Annual Lecture 2023: A just transition - leaving no one behind in the response to climate change

Join us for our prestigious Annual Lecture where thought leaders will discuss the challenges, barriers, and opportunities to achieve a just transition to a post-carbon economy. There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
The panel includes:
- Chris Stark, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee who will give a short keynote talk at the start of this event. This will be followed by a panel discussion with:
- Jaya Chakrabarti MBE, President of Bristol Chamber of Commerce & West of England Initiative;
- Gnisha Bevan, Co-Creator and Co-Lead of the Black Seeds Network;
- Dr Ed Atkins, just transition scholar, University of Bristol; and
- Dr Alix Dietzel (Chair and environmental justice scholar and Associate Director of the Cabot Institute for the Environment).

Doors to the Showcase close at 5:30 pm but you can look around until 5:45 pm which gives you time for a comfort break and to find a seat before the lecture promptly starts at 6 pm.
