A display of artworks inspired by conversations and research around climate change and a unique opportunity to meet the artists.

Art can be a powerful way to convey different perspectives and understand our changing planet. Cabot Institute for the Environment recently worked with some amazing Bristol-based artists who created thought-provoking and impactful artworks inspired by conversations and research around the climate and ecological emergencies.

This event celebrates those collaborations and offers a unique opportunity to see the art displayed, meet the artists and hear about their experiences in creating the work.

Joining us on the day are artists:

  • Chi-Yien Snow
  • Parys Gardner
  • Cai Burton
  • Jyn-San Tsang
  • Frances Daws

Want to find out how to work with artists? Hear their experience interpreting environmental research through art? Have conversations about the climate and ecological emergencies from different perspectives? There will be opportunities for conversations as well as space for contemplation while viewing the artwork.

This event is part of the University of Bristol Climate Emergency Day of Action. Everyone welcome. This is a public event. Come along any time between 11 am and 3 pm on the day.
