Joe’s research is interdisciplinary, spanning climate science and social sciences, with a focus on understanding how to best integrate climate information into decision-making and policy. He is particularly interested in communication of climate uncertainties, assessing interpretation of different types of climate information, and understanding the role of different actors in the development and delivery of climate services. His work involves collaborating with organisations across the world, primarily in Africa and Asia, to co-develop climate services.
