Professor Judy Wajcman answers this provocative question at the University of Bristol Business School's Work Futures Research Group Annual Lecture.
Judy Wajcman is Professor Emeritus in Sociology at London School of Economics and Principal Investigator of the Women in Data Science and AI project at the Alan Turing Institute.
Her work has had a major influence on the sociology of work, technology and time, as well as on management and organisation studies, industrial relations, and feminist theory. Her books include: 'Women in control: dilemmas of a workers co-operative'; 'Feminism confronts technology'; 'Managing like a man: women and men in corporate management'; 'TechnoFeminism'; 'Pressed for time: the acceleration of life in digital capitalism'
