The University of Bristol Business School is hosting a session on publishing with Bristol University Press. This event will be open to PGRs and academics within the Business School.

This event will be from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm on Friday 24th February, in person and online.

The session will be an in-conversation discussion, where Ellen Pearce from BUP will talk with two of our academics, Professor Martin Parker and Dr Lilia Giugni, about their experience of publishing books.

Lilia recently published 'The Threat. Why Digital Capitalism is Sexist, and How to Resist' (September Publishing 2023), and Martin's recent books include 'Shut Down the Business School' (Pluto Books 2018).

The schedule for the meeting will be:
12:00 - 12:15 - Introduction to BUP from Ellen Pearce
12:15 - 12:30 - Martin and Lilia talk about their work and books
12:30 - 13:00 - Discussion between Ellen, Martin and Lilia on publishing
13:00 - 13:20 - Open Q and A

This session will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about publishing; we hope that the session will be particularly helpful to ECRs. There will be some refreshments provided at the session.

We look forward to seeing you there!
