Spin-outs and licensing

Bristol has an excellent record of innovative high-tech companies and the city hosts two new bio-incubators (Unit DX and future_space) to support innovative new life science companies.

BrisSynBio has spun out its first synthetic biology company (Zentraxa) and licences industrially relevant intellectual property (IP) through the University of Bristol Research and Enterprise Development (RED).

If you have an idea for a joint venture, are interested in licencing BrisSynBio-generated IP or have a piece of work you would like BrisSynBio to conduct, please contact BrisSynBio’s Innovation Manager, Andy Boyce.
