Celebrate 10 years of the Life Sciences Building with us!

We're opening our doors for a week to celebrate the impact the Life Sciences Building has had on science culture over the past 10 years, where it stands now in the scientific zeitgeist, and what the future holds for biological science.

With talks from BBC presenters, photo exhibitions, interactive exhibits, a chance to see our new mural painting and more, you absolutely do not want to miss it!

Check out the line-up below.

  • Monday 21 October, 3pm-6:30pm

Open Doors Day!

Come and join us to explore the wonders of Biological Sciences!

We have fun and interactive science stalls for all! Use an Ultrasound gun to find hidden insects, or look at bloodsucking bugs under a microscope! Learn about plant diversity through a card game, and measure how much leaf litter worms and woodlice can tidy up and learn how they help plants thrive! We also have some amazing talks on subjects on dinosaurs, moths, and tropical forests!
