The School of Biochemistry is one of the best departments of its kind in the UK and has an international reputation for excellence in biochemical research. Our teaching is informed by a wealth of wide-ranging and cutting edge research activity, ensuring our undergraduate students receive rigorous and relevant tuition via a mixture of lectures, small tutorials and practical sessions.

Our students have access to state-of-the-art teaching facilities, thanks in part to the faculty's status as a UK Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL).
