Advanced Computing Research Centre Directors

The ACRC has two Directors. Dr. Sadaf Alam is the Director for ACRC Strategy and Academia. Dr. Steven Chapman is the Director of ACRC Operations.

Management and Facilitation Team

HPC team

The HPC team runs the High Performance Computing cluster infrastructure and provides support to University of Bristol HPC users.

Research Data Storage Team

The RDSF team runs the Research Data Storage Facility infrastructure and the University's data.bris data repository and data publishing infrastructure.

ACRC Research Software Engineers

The ACRC Research Software Engineering Group is a mix of grant-funded and core-funded engineers whose focus is to improve the reusability, robustness, sustainability and quality of research software developed across the University.
