The European Accounting Association (EAA) is an academic association that supports high-quality accounting research, teaching and knowledge exchange with practice, supporting the development of its members and benefiting society through their activities. The Management Committee oversees the EAA's day-to-day operations and strategic decisions.
About her appointment, Professor Michelon said:
“In taking up this position at the EAA I am very excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the European academic community and its relations with professional bodies, policy makers, regulators and other research-oriented Associations in the field of accounting.”
Professor Michelon’ currently also serves at the Editor-in-Chief of the EAA Accounting Resources Centre, a digital platform conceived and operated to stimulate research productivity, enhance teaching practices, provide career development guidance and improve high quality collaboration.
