The University contains a range of externally-funded entities that provide doctoral training for cohorts of research students, including those funded with the Research Councils and with the Wellcome Trust. These entities are a leading edge in terms of new approaches to doctoral training.
Quality assurance is an important consideration for the entities and they connect with the University's Quality Framework.
