Improving access to specialist CFS/ME services for Black and Minority Ethnic children.

The overall aim of this study is to understand the barriers experienced by children from BME communities to improve access to specialist CFS/ME services.

There has been limited work investigating CFS/ME in children from BME communities.  To develop effective recommendations for removing the barriers for BME patients accessing specialist medical services, we need to first define the barriers this population face. The study will involve interviews with: children, family members, community organisations and medical professionals.
