Mental Wellbeing Week 20-24 February

15 February 2012

The Students' Union are holding their first Mental Wellbeing Week starting on Monday 20 February, which includes contributions from the Students' Health Service and Student Counselling Service

Fact: 1 in 4 people will suffer from mental health problems at some point during their lifetime.

Myth: There’s nothing you can do about it.

There are loads of different ways you can look after your mind, just like you can for your body. The Students' Union Mental Wellbeing Week is a brand new week of events and activities promoting a healthy lifestyle and a healthy mind.

The Students' Health Service and Student Counselling Service are contributing to the Students' Union Mental Wellbeing Week. This includes StreetDoc and StreetCounsellor during the Festival of the Mind on Monday 20 February, 11am-3pm outside the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health on Tyndall Avenue.

Further details, updated regularly, are available from the Students' Union website. The Students' Health Service have also written a blog entry about it.
