Pilates works on the entire body. It focuses on the core postural muscles (stomach and back). This principle of working from a strong centre is incorporated into all Pilates exercises. The body is therefore always well balanced and protected.
Equipment based Pilates is tailored for the needs of the individual. It includes matwork and resistance based exercises on the equipment.
Mat based Pilates uses a pre-set series of exercises that are introduced weekly with individual variations if needed. We offer both forms of Pilates.
