Autumn Prize Giving: Celebrating law student achievements

The University of Bristol Law School honoured its outstanding students of the last year in the autumn prize giving ceremony this week.

This year's autumn prize giving was held on Wednesday 4th November.

Ng Guan Wen Colin and Lucy Bessant shared both 'Best Student in 1st Year' awards, whilst Lucy was also named 'Best Student in Contract Law'. Lewis Graham was awarded the 'Best Student in 2nd Year Prize', and Mark Alan Gillis won 'Best First Year MA Performance'.

The Law School was delighted to award the following International Internship Scholarships to: Jing Zhou, Pei En Deborah Chan, Sze-En Esther Ho, Kristin Chi Yan Hoo, Benny Santoso, Kevin Tan, Sherah Ying Zhong Tan, Shu Wain Ng, Mindy Yap Lin Ying and Ji Min Teo.

The School was also delighted to award the Eileen Drummond and Sheila Anderson Award to Jack Brett, Lisa Bi, Daisy Luck, Winifried Robinson-Fell and Englanda Risto. Tania Cheng-Davies was also awarded the Law Review Sponsorship

Molly Shipman was awarded the Best Student in Constitutional Rights, William Merry the Best Student in Jurisprudence and Charlotte Short the Best Student in Contract Law (for Students on LLB Law/French & Law/German). The Best Student for Crime, Justice and Society Award was shared this year between Lewis Graham, Cassie Blower, Katrina Rose Pool and Ami Patterson, Cassie Blower also submitted the Best Undergraduate Paper in Second Year Land Law Exam.
