The objective of this project was to take two information resources held by TASI, namely:

• The projects database - detailing details of digitisation projects
• The 'rough and ready' guide to image resources - a review of some current image resources available via the web

and to consolidate and merge this information to provide an Image Collections Registry which is delivered via the TASI Web site.

People searching for image resources can use the ICR to search and find digital images within their subject discipline - links have been provided to take the user to the digital image archive.

Project staff who are involved in a digitisation project will also find this resource helpful - they are able to search and find similar projects and contact them to ask advice/discuss problems or to discuss collaborative efforts. This project was funded by the Joint Informations Systems Committee (JISC).
