From May 1st 2017, Shuangyi is a lecturer in the High Performance Networks group at the department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering in MVSE.

Shuangyi has worked in the High Performance Networks Group since 2013 as a Senior Research Associate and as Research Fellow.

He has previously studied his B.E. degree and PhD in China. His research interests include multi-dimensional programmable optical networks for future 5G applications, multi-layer network analytics for network optimization, and next generation data center networks.
