aML review

aML first became commercially available in 2000. aML may be used to fit a wide range of multilevel models, and specializes in multilevel extensions of models which are commonly used in econometrics. The program was designed specifically for fitting multiprocess or simultaneous equation models to hierarchical data where one or more of the explanatory variables may be non-random or endogenous with respect to the outcome variable of interest.
