Bryan Bzdek wins RSC Marlow Prize

16 June 2023

Dr Bryan Bzdek has won the 2023 Marlow Prize from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). This prize recognises the most meritorious contributions made by an early career scientist in any area of physical chemistry and is awarded by the Faraday community.

Dr Bzdek is being recognised for his pioneering contributions to aerosol physical chemistry, including the surface composition of microscopic droplets, new particle formation in the atmosphere, and the physicochemical properties of respiratory aerosols.

This is the second successive year in which a Bristol researcher has won the Marlow Award, following Dr Basile Curchod in 2022.

The full list of 2023 RSC prize winners can be found on their website.
